cool company vision video
- fonts are beautiful
- love how fast paced it is. keeps your attention
- mostly great script
- great sound fx and audio logo
- clip choice is mostly fantastic. lots of nostalgic old videos.
- smart to use 80s music in the 80s section of the video. and 90s music in the 90s section.
but
- maybe a little too much background context. could be much shorter
- "GUI for software" is a very confusing line, especially for normal people (which is the audience)
- stock footage from their launch video didn't quite go well in this video
I think its very very smart to have a video concisely explaining your vision to the world.
it likely wont go viral (though a very compelling vision can) and doesn't have a clear cut home where it should live, but its really helpful for fundraising and hiring.
most importantly, it helps you clarify your vision. if you cant put it in a quick video, you probably need to step back and think harder about what you're building.
