good low budget feature launch
- playful and authentic (esp the broll at the end)
- great pacing (ADHD is happy!)
- love the scroll stopper
- good use of screen recordings
- good captions (very necessary)
but
- "from slash to spark is confusing"
- can feel a little too low budget at times
- as a video startup I partially expect them to have extremely high quality AI videos in all of their launches. show off the product!
- would have made some words bigger to emphasize / cover for with accents
also I'm going to be honest about accents.
if you have a thick accent like they do, you need to speak slower/annunciate, make sure you have excellent and clear captions, and spend time doing accent training/coaching.
don't try to avoid this with AI or another speaker. founders need clear communication to be able to lead either way.
any founder with a thick accent that puts themselves out there on camera like this is a hero. not easy to do but its the right thing to do.
