incredibly beautiful health tech launch
- the music is beautiful. kinda reminds me of faux ex machina score but uplifting. very nostalgic feeling too
- the colors are stunning. everything feels beautiful and cohesive
- love how they only show parts of the device and room but never the whole thing
- no narration or text was a bold move that paid off
but
- wish there was a little more imagery of the humans behind this division
- would have had a stronger scroll stopper teasing more of the device
- could have had some text
this is art. and very midjourney, which is known for very specific and beautiful aesthetics to their generated images.
you have to give them props. launching and entirely new product in a new industry that feels 100% them.
since midjourney is such a well known company and this is such a crazy unique and unexpected product, they can afford to under optimize the video for views. people are paying attention regardless. that is in fact the power play.
by just showing beautiful imagery of the product with music dripping with emotion, they make you feel something deeply which is the only thing a lot of followers and attention doesn’t get you already.
also this is a “we exist” launch video, which can and should be focused on mission and emotion.
only thing I think that would have made it better without ruining the character would have been showing a few short clips of people from the team creating the device / room in the beginning then showing the person using it. tells the story we are building something new better
incredible work. I don’t think I’ve been so moved by a launch video in a long long time
