self-review of our partnership launch video

  • original af (who has ever done a music video for a launch except us?)
  • like how the outfits are slash branding
  • cool that the band/genre/scene is consistent with previous launch videos
  • cuts are solid
  • nice and short

but

  • video doesn't really explain what is great about slash or micro
  • maybe a little too unserious for some brands
  • probably too much work for the volume of partnerships we may be doing
  • founder should still be in most videos if possible

generally happy with this creatively, but still don't think this is the right format for partnership or feature announcements - too much work and not clear enough.

the lack of seriousness is the bigger challenge for me. this video is my personality, but it would be better to have a lot more buttoned up brand. will be exploring this with future videos.
