self-defeating launch video
- "almost here for almost 4 years" is a fun line
- some nice animations
- nice sound fx
but
- this narrator voice is awful. too salesy and boomer.
- intro buildup music should align to visual (stop on "its 2026")
- too long to show the product
- need to show the founder. this company isn't big enough for faceless product announcements.
- very very classic scroll stopper but could have made it more relevant to the video
- tweet screenshots are too small
- wrong terminology - no one uses "sloppy" its "slop"
the hardest thing about this video is that while it pitches that that the product has great taste, the video itself (and the designs shown in it) basically refutes it.
would have probably opened the video showing some hilariously terrible AI generated designs (with screenshots of coding agents saying how good it is). this is the pain point we all have
