- UI looks super fake
- ugly design doesn't sell this design tool v well
genspark is a large well-funded startup. the product seems great, but this video really erodes credibility that it actually is.
if you sell a design tool, you need to have GREAT DESIGN at all costs.
you're selling outcomes and if you can't even cherry pick beautiful designs for a video how am I supposed to believe the AI slot machine will produce something great. at very least signals you have bad taste.
I will say that genspark's logo looks like it came from an icon pack, so seems like the team is missing the DNA anyway.
this is one of the worst fake UIs I've seen in a launch video. looks like it was made by an underpaid video editor in the philippines, not a world class design and marketing team.
fake UIs are toxic because people instantly think "this is fake, does it actually do this?" which means you never get to a "wow" and your audience is just skeptical.
if you're a big company without good taste. PAY UP for a top design and marketing video agency that another company known for good taste has used. its easy if you have the $ and actually care.
